Amy Fish & Yonder Blue is country music on the edge of blue-grass. Firmly planted in traditional American roots music, the music comes down from the mountain, rolls through the country, takes a little western swing and ends up with a whole lot of fun and good times. The band covers a wide range of country and blue-grass standards adding their own unique personality and style yet holding true to the traditions of the music.
Newly formed, but eager to please, the band brings together some of Northeast Ohio’s finest musicians including Amy Fish (guitar, vocals and crowd appeal), Mitch Tabol (guitar, mandolin, vocals and chuckles), Tim Beach (dobro, banjo, vocals and an endless CD collection of great music) and Johnny Dorado (bass, no vocals and the beat without the drums).

Amy Fish (Vocals, Guitar) is a little gal with a great big voice who lets her love for music sing out with every note. With the energy and spunk of Loretta, she delivers powerful, yet graceful vocal renditions that win the hearts and praise of music fans – country or not. Her down-home, soulful style has been described as smoother than Lucinda, rougher than Emmylou. Any way you shake it, Amy Fish’s unique fun-loving approach will put a smile on your face, a hop in your step and a beat in your heart.
Mitch Tabol (Vocals, Guitar, Mandolin) is a well-seasoned musician whose eclectic musical roots are based in southern rock, blues, jazz, country and bluegrass idioms. He has been a long-time aficionado of the acoustic guitar, an accomplished bluegrass flatpicker and a serious student of the mandolin. Regardless of the instrument, Mitch combines speed and precision, rhythm and pop with melodies that ring true to heart. Over the years, Mitch has played in a number of well-established Northeast Ohio bands including Whistling Rufus, Bolo Deluxe and bluegrass favorite Cross Ties.
Tim Beach (Vocals, Dobro, Banjo, Guitar) is a main stay in Ohio bluegrass and acoustic circles. He has played in numerous projects including the Trail Hawgs, 32nd Street and Cedar Hill. To Amy Fish & Yonder Blue he brings a love for styles ranging from traditional bluegrass to modern jazz adding color, flavor and texture to the overall sound. His range and versatility are the perfect compliment to Mitch’s driving style.
Johnny Dorado (Electric and Upright Bass) has laid down the bass for many projects over the past two decades. His strong sense of melody is effortlessly mixed with a perfect knack for "holding down the groove". His versatility has allowed him to cover a wide range of musical styles, from rock to country, blues to reggae and many places in between. Amy Fish and Yonder Blue is the latest in a long line of musical endeavors that pumps the heart and moves the soul. Other notable projects include Fine Young Minds, Cat Free Air and Crooked Mile to name a few.
